"I believe we must embrace and love the whole self, including the parts of us that seem broken or less attractive. Love must be unconditional, rather than dependent on the need to appear perfect. My invitation to you is that you would grow in walking in the delicate tension of acceptance and the pursuit of growth and strength." - Michelle

About Michelle Gavinsky, LPC-A, lmft-A

As a counselor and ultimately a human being, I am very warm and accepting, offering a gentle, playful (and sometimes zesty) approach to guiding clients on their healing journey.

My Approach

Authenticity

Authenticity is vital to living fully alive, and it is with this that I help clients face their most true self, thus allowing them to unburden from negative ways of coping with the stresses of life.

Empathy

Empathy is the foundation of my therapeutic approach. I provide a compassionate and understanding environment where you can feel heard, validated, and supported throughout your healing journey.

Personalized Care

I believe in offering personalized care to every client, tailored to focus on your unique needs and goals. The first few sessions will involve a lengthy review of your history, so I know how to best serve you. After this, we will collaboratively form your path to healing to ensure you feel a sense of empowerment and walk in long-lasting breakthrough.
